Connecting beyond walls
Emotional regulation champions
Exar Wellbeing is a community interest company, set up to broaden our ability to meet the mental health and wellbeing needs of those with SEND, SEMH and neurodiversity.
Why we exist
To offer equality of access to specialist therapeutic support for those with neurodiversity, SEND and SEMH needs – particularly those from ethnic minority groups, in Bristol and surrounding communities.
What we do
Use evidence-based emotional regulation strategies, and digital technology, to provide an effective toolkit of accessible regulation activities for all.
How do we do it
By providing technology-led mental health and therapeutic support through: 1:1, small group, and family services – remotely, in-person or a bespoke blend of both, to ebb and flow with the needs of our clients.
Without walls project
A 10-week programme designed to support homebound young people to begin a journey of reconnection, socialisation and access to education.
